Roughly translated from Konkani, Goa's official state language Dudh Sagar means "Sea of Milk". Dudh Sagar Waterfall is located in a wild and scenic deciduous forest
at Mollem, in the southern part of Goa about 60 Km from Panjim.
The view from the top of the falls is breathtaking. The falls looks even better at magical light of dawn. With a total height of 310 meters (1017 feet)
it is India's fifth tallest waterfall and 227th in the world.
The Dudhsagar waterfall is calm during summer. During the monsoon season, the falls become alive due to the presence of large amounts of water and hence the Dudhsagar waterfalls attract tourists mostly during monsoon season. The best time to visit is August to begining of November.
